I’ve been able to Pay to Mobile for a while. How is PayID® different?

Pay to Mobile only works between Westpac accounts. With PayID you can make near-instant payments to people who bank with all participating banks in Australia, 24/7, even on weekends and public holidays.  Additionally, before you confirm a PayID payment, the recipient’s name will appear on your screen.
 

PayID payments can be made to a mobile number, email address, ABN (which includes ACN, ARBN and ARSN), phone number or Organisation ID.
