  1. Sign into the Westpac App
  2. On your home screen tap Insights to view Cash flow and Categories

Use our Budget Planner tool in the App to see how much available cash you’ve got. Simply set your ins and outs and you’ll be able to see what you’ve got left to spend. You can even choose categories and set limits for them to help you track and manage where your money goes.

Frequently asked questions

You can change a transaction subcategory by:

  1. Tap on the transaction.
  2. Scroll down to the Subcategory header, tap Edit.
  3. Select a new subcategory from the list.

To create a custom subcategory:

  1. Tap on your transaction.
  2. Scroll down to the Subcategory header, tap Edit.
  3. Tap Create a subcategory at the bottom.
  4. Enter the Custom name you'd like, and then tap Save
  5. Confirm if you'd like similar transactions to be recategorised. The system will continue to learn as you update your subcategories.

 

Transactions with a pending category can't be updated and won't appear in your Cash flow and Categories until they're fully processed.
