This group is made up of members of the Executive Team. Their role is to ensure inclusion and diversity goals are integrated into Westpac's Group's business strategy, and to keep track of how initiatives are progressing.
We have established Inclusion and Diversity Councils across each business unit to set goals, prioritise initiatives and make our entire business accountable for creating the results we want. These councils are chaired by the Group Executive of the business unit and attended by their leadership team.
Their role is to champion Inclusion and Diversity initiatives to their businesses and challenge and influence others to be bold when coming up with ideas and setting goals. Business unit updates are fed into the Westpac Group Inclusion & Diversity Executive Council.
This group of General Manager Inclusion & Diversity champions from across the business serves as a sounding board to socialise ideas, approaches and initiatives before they are endorsed by the Westpac Group Inclusion & Diversity Executive Council.
