From time to time you may need to place a stop payment on a cheque (or range of cheques). Cheques are stopped using Corporate Online.
Please ensure the cheque has not been presented (by checking your bank statements) before you place a stop cheque request.
To make a stop payment on a cheque:
Sign into Corporate Online
From the Accounts menu select Stop Cheques
Click Create
Ensure the correct account is showing in the drop down box near the top of the screen
Enter the details of the cheque you wish to stop, then click Continue
If you are also an authoriser, click Authorise now
Note: The stop cheque request must be fully authorised in Corporate Online before the Bank will accept your instructions. Please contact the Corporate Online Support Help Desk on 1300 134 291 if you need assistance.
