What’s Digital Mail?

The digital way to receive important information about your accounts, via the Westpac App or Online Banking rather than by traditional mail. You’ll receive the same information that would appear on a posted letter, but you’ll be able to access it faster and more conveniently, all while being paper-free.

Fast and reliable

No waiting for up to 7 days for the mail to arrive. Notices are conveniently delivered to your online inbox.

Safe and secure

Secure storage for up to 18 months*, with no fear of letters or notices being intercepted or lost like regular mail.

Alerts by email

We'll send an email to let you know when Digital Mail has been delivered to your online inbox. Just sign in to view.

Easy to access

Anytime access from your favourite device allows you to save your personal files and print them when needed.

Things you need to know before you switch

Accessing Digital Mail

You must be registered for Online Banking to access your digital inbox by signing in via the Westpac App or desktop. You also need a valid email address so we can send you email alerts. Please ensure that your contact details are up-to-date online and you have the latest version of the App.

Content of Digital Mail

Notifications sent digitally may include, but not limited to, card arrivals, changes in a product’s terms and conditions, changes to interest rates, missed payment advice, BPay or direct debit failure advice, and service letters. For legal or other reasons, we may still occasionally send you letters in the post.

Accounts with Digital Mail

All Westpac cash and transaction accounts, credit cards, personal and home loans, and insurance accounts can be switched to Digital Mail.
