15-month program with 3 X 5-month rotations

Varied rotation areas

Build a comprehensive knowledge base and deepen your skillset while forming a network of professional connections.

Engage in diverse range of rotations across business areas such as Commercial, AGRI Business, Business Property, Portfolio Management, SME, Private Wealth, Business Lending, and Business Effectiveness, as well as Risk and Compliance teams.

Future career opportunities

Fast-track your career in roles such as Assistant Relationship Manager, Account Executive, Product Manager, Associate Business Analyst, Operations/Performance Manager, Change Manager, Business Banker, and more.

What our graduates have to say

I studied a Bachelor of Commerce and a Diploma of German at the University of Melbourne. Whilst studying Finance and Economics benefitted me during my time as a Grad with Westpac, the diversity of teams within the Group meant that I was surrounded by people who had a variety of degrees and experiences.

Outside of work, I am an avid tennis player and competitively play the bagpipes. The flexible working culture at Westpac really allowed me to pursue these activities and more.

Internally, Westpac offered me a tremendous number of opportunities to get involved in various Employee Advocacy Groups and volunteering experiences.

Since rolling off the program…

The Grad Program allowed me to experience and work with many different departments, which ultimately led me to finding my ‘fit’ within the bank.

Whilst developing hard skills in my rotations, the Grad Program allowed me to continually build on my soft skills.

As a Grad, I found that the Program helped me grow both as a person and as a professional.

Eligibility and how to apply

To apply for our graduate program:

You must be in your final year of study of a university degree
You can have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree but it must be no more than three years ago
You also need to be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident when you apply.
