What our graduates have to say
Prior to joining Westpac’s Graduate Program, I worked as a nurse with a post graduate certificate in Paediatric Nursing. I am passionate about helping others, continuous improvement, and lifelong learning. Outside of work, I enjoy playing netball, going to yoga and Pilates classes, baking, and reading. Recognising my diverse background and skillset, I was drawn to Westpac’s “uncommon minds” program and their purpose driven culture. With my unique background, I embraced a ‘growth mindset’, and was continuously pushed out of my comfort zone to propel my growth and learning at Westpac. The Graduate program was an incredible experience, where I gained invaluable knowledge, skills, and exposure across my four rotations within the Mortgages Line of Business. There were so many career and developmental opportunities, as well as an uplifting and supportive culture which helped prepare me for a successful career with Westpac.
Since rolling off the program…
I am a Communications Manager in Mortgages, Consumer Banking. I focus on the end-to-end campaign development supporting first party acquisition business channels- for partnership channels (Referrer, Proloan, Corporate Partners and Family & Employee Banking). The Westpac Graduate program proved to be a transformative experience and I am excited to see what the future holds for me.
