Westpac does not guarantee any insurance and cover is subject to your application for insurance being accepted by the insurer. If you purchase an insurance policy through Westpac or as a result of a referral, Westpac will receive a commission which is a percentage of your premium.

General insurance

This information is general only and does not take into account your personal circumstances. Westpac can arrange for the initial issue of the following insurance:

  • Home & Contents and Landlord Insurance issued by Allianz Australia Insurance Limited ABN 15 000 122 850 AFSL 234708 (Allianz). View the Home and Contents Insurance Key Fact Sheets
  • Motor Insurance issued by Allianz. 

If you take out Home & Contents or Landlord Insurance or Motor Insurance with Allianz, the Bank will receive a commission of up to 12% of the premium (exclusive of GST).

Westpac can refer clients to Allianz, Club Marine Limited ABN 12 007 588 347 AFSL 236916 (Club Marine) and AWP Australia Pty Ltd ABN 52 097 227 177 AFSL 245631 trading as Allianz Global Assistance (AGA) (both Club Marine and AGA act as an agent under a binder for Allianz), respectively, for each of the following insurance:

  • Caravan & Trailer Insurance issued by Allianz,
  • Pleasure Craft Insurance issued by Club Marine,
  • Travel Insurance issued by AGA for the insurer Allianz.

for which it will receive a commission of up to 10% of the premium (exclusive of GST) if you take out the insurance (including renewals).

Policy terms, conditions, limits and exclusions apply. Read the relevant Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) to see if the insurance is right for you. Where applicable, a Target Market Determination (TMD) has been created for these products. For Caravan & Trailer and Pleasure Craft, please contact Allianz on 1800 502 077 for a copy of the TMD.
