Why am I seeing a message to contact my bank?
To set up Apple Pay you need to have registered for our SMS Protect Code service using a valid mobile phone number.
If you have not registered for this service, you will need to call us to set it up. You will be asked to verify your identity before we can set this up for you. You may also be asked to contact the bank if there is an error when attempting to enrol your card in Apple Pay.
You need to register for SMS Protect Code service with a valid Australian mobile phone number to enrol a Handycard in Apple Pay. If you have registered an international mobile phone number you will not be able to receive an SMS Protect Code and will need to call us to assist you.
