How does home loan categorisation work?

We suggest you categorise the debit payment from your account as Mortgage or Loan repayment subcategory.

The credit into your home loan account and the interest paid should usually be categorised as 'Transfers'. By doing so, this avoids double counting, ensuring your home loan repayment is accurately included in Cash flow and Top Categories insights.
