How accurate is the carbon footprint calculation?
All carbon footprint CO2e (carbon dioxide equivalent) values are estimates based on extensive research by our partner, Cogo, at an industry and national level. They are updated as more information becomes available.
The current data available to us doesn't allow us to see the specific items you purchase, the merchant you’re buying them from, or any of your lifestyle choices, such as your diet or energy consumption choices. Therefore, we must make general assumptions about spending based on average or typical 'grocery basket' purchases.
