Can I filter my search by transactions?

Yes, you can search transactions by description, date or amount. You can also filter by payment type, such as credit or debit transactions. Your transaction history will allow you to see previous account balances.

To search your transactions on desktop go to Overview > Transaction search. In the Westpac App you can use Smart Search.
