While you cannot prevent an intermediary bank from converting your funds into AUD before the international money transfer is received by Westpac, you can request that the sender include the message or reference 'Do not convert' into the payment details to reduce the likelihood of the intermediary bank converting the payment before Westpac receives the funds.
