Can I change a scheduled payment?
You can change the payment amount and/or the payment date for a single payment in a recurring payment schedule. Any other changes, you’ll have to cancel the payment and create a new one. If the payment is scheduled for today, you won’t be able to cancel or change it.
In the Westpac App
Before trying these instructions make sure you update to the latest version of the app.
- Tap Profile > Payments > Upcoming
- Select the scheduled payment
- Tap Cancel payment or Amend payment (Android) or Options > Cancel payment or Amend payment (iOS)
In Online Banking
- Go to Upcoming payments on your dashboard and select View
- Go to Actions and select Cancel payment or Amend payment
