How do I pay by BPAY®?
You can make a BPAY® payment in Online Banking, the Westpac App and the Westpac iPad App. You must be registered for
Westpac Protect™ Security Code.
Account holders under 14 years old cannot make BPAY payments or use BPAY View in Online Banking.
In the Westpac App
Before trying these instructions make sure you update to the latest version of the app.
- Tap $ in the bar menu
- Tap Pay by BPAY
- Select a BPAY account in Billers or tap Add > BPAY® Biller to add a new payee
- Tap the From account
- Enter the Amount and tap Schedule to select the date and frequency
- Tap Pay to pay now or Schedule to pay later
- Review your payment details and tap Pay
- Enter the SMS code sent to your registered mobile
- Tap Done to complete your payment
In Online Banking
- Go to Payments > Make a payment and select the BPAY tab
- Select a biller from the drop down menu or select Pay new payee and enter the new payee details
- Select From account
- Enter the Amount, Date and Payment frequency
- Select Continue
- Review your payment details and select Confirm
In the Westpac iPad App
- Drag the From account to the Payment zone and drop the coin onto the BPAY® zone
- Tap To and select a BPAY® account or tap Add (+) to add a new BPAY® biller
- Enter the details
- Tap Make payment and then tap Confirm
- Enter the SMS code sent to your registered mobile
- Tap Authorise to complete your payment
By phone
- Call 132 032
- Select Option 1
- Key in your 8 digit Customer ID (you’ll find this on your statement)
- Key in your 3 digit access code
- Follow the prompts
