Do I need to have Westpac Protect™ SMS Code to set up my PayID®?
Your mobile number will need to be registered for Westpac Protect™ SMS Code before you can receive the code to set up a PayID in personal banking.
To add your mobile number or switch from a token, call 1300 655 505 8am-8pm Mon-Sun Sydney time or +61 2 9155 7700 from overseas.
In the Westpac App
Before trying these instructions make sure you update to the latest version of the app.
- Search PayID in the Smart Search bar
- Tap PayID settings then Register now and follow the prompts.
In Online Banking
Personal customers
- Go to Service > Services > Account services > PayID/Pay to mobile > Register now.
Business customers
- Go to Service > Services > Account Services > PayID settings > Create new PayID
