I have Third Party Access Authority, can I authorise a PayTo agreement on behalf of the account owner?
PayTo works in the same was as other Online Banking access for Third Parties:
- If you’re an individual with Third Party Authority Access (‘Value access’/’View and make payments’): you’ll be able to view and manage PayTo agreements on behalf of the account owner in your Online Banking. You’ll also be notified when a PayTo agreement requires authorisation, when changes are made, and when there is an issue with a PayTo payment.
- If you’re an organisation with Third Party Authority Access (‘Value access’/’View and make payments’): the Network Administrator for the Business Network will need to turn on the PayTo feature in their Online Banking Business Network and add the PayTo entitlements to the Third Party account. Then the Administrator will need to allocate PayTo access for the relevant Network users who’ll then be able to see and manage your PayTo agreements and receive notifications about them.
- Third Party Authority Access – business or individual (‘Non-value access’/’View only’): if you’re third party with non-value access, you’ll not be able to view or manage PayTo agreements linked to the third party account, or receive any notifications about them.
