What's the purpose of the ‘Reference’ field when sending an Osko® payment?

The Reference field is an additional 35-character field in Online Banking that you can use for things like invoice numbers when sending Osko payments to provide additional details about the transfer. This optional field is in addition to the 280-character description field also available for Osko payments.
 

You’ll see the sender’s reference field information in the transaction details of each Osko payment, including in statements and extracts.
