What information is provided by the Cash flow module?
Cash flow provides an aggregated view of transaction totals assigned to the income and expense category. It’ll demonstrate if you’ve spent more or less than your income over the last 12 months by combining all your income and expense categorised transactions for each month.
If your Cash flow is positive for the current month, your income was higher than your expenses.
If your Cash flow is negative for the current month, your expenses were higher than your income. At times, the current month can show as negative due to the timing of receipt of your payment or salary.
Cash flow differs from Net Financial Position, which is calculated on account balances.
