How do pending transactions affect my balance?

While the transaction is pending, the amount is deducted from your available funds but your account balance will remain unchanged. The account balance will only be updated once the payment is fully processed.

For debit card transactions made when the customer selects CHQ or SAV, the transaction amount will be deducted from both the account’s available funds and is also reflected in the total balance immediately.
