What happens if I don’t grow the balance my Westpac Life savings account?

That's ok, if you haven't grown the balance of your Westpac Life savings account by the end of the month:

• You'll still earn the 1.85% p.a. Westpac Life variable base rate.
• Plus, if you make 5 or more eligible purchases in the month on your Westpac Choice debit card, you'll also earn the 0.20% p.a. Spend&Save variable bonus interest on top of that.
  

So, you'll still be able to earn 1.85% p.a. + 0.20% p.a. even if you don't grow your balance.
