The Westpac iPhone Mobile Banking app version 10.2.0 and above checks the security of your Wi-Fi network connection when attempting to sign in. To help protect you and your banking, the app may prompt you regarding the Wi-Fi network that you are using as it may be monitored or pose a possible security risk to you and your banking.
Trusted Wi-Fi (also known as certificate pinning or public key pinning)

This helps ensure the security of your personal information including passwords / security codes, as well as helping your accounts remain secure. |
Wi-Fi connection at their workplace | Some employers monitor Wi-Fi usage for security purposes. In this situation, you may be prompted each time you sign in to Westpac Mobile Banking. | You should only tap the ‘Trust Wi-Fi’ button if you are confident that your employer’s Wi-Fi connection is safe. It is recommended that you tap 'Cancel' and change to mobile data to sign in if you are unsure of the security of the network. |
